According to a report from PageSix.com, Damon Dash doesn’t feel a lot of shame regarding his recent stint in a jail cell. Page Six reported that the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder claims he thought he appeared “cool as f*ck” when he was on his way out of jail after he wasn’t able to pay child support.
The star reportedly said it was “all part of the game.” On Monday, the record label co-founder said to Page Six that when he walked out of the jail cell, he was a million dollars lighter, and then did a show just an hour later. He thought it was “gangsta.”
As it was previously reported, Damon put on a show at the Canary Club in New York following his incarceration and introduced a new rock band and called himself “Billy Pablo The Third.” Dash went on to say he didn’t do anything wrong or immoral, however, “they wanted that picture.”
Mr. Damon said the police officers who took care of him were nice and respectful. At the moment, the music industry mogul has been accused of owing nearly half-a-million dollars to his fashion designing ex-wife, Rachel Roy.
Dash reportedly added that the court battle wasn’t about to stop anytime soon, because he intended on “going to fight and go to court” about his interest in his ex’s clothing line.
The star alleges the claim of him needing to pay child support was a political tactic so his stake in the company could be sold at a “devalued price point.”
Moreover, after he left the jail, Dash said he wasn’t struggling financially, and also paid the child support he owed. However, last week, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder filed legal documents in the court system stating that he didn’t have any money.

Mr. Dash owed $2 million to Lee Daniels formerly, the producer of Empire, the show that found itself embroiled in controversy due to the fake hate crime hoax from series regular, Jussie Smollett. Furthermore, Dash said to the outlet that he didn’t care what others thought of him, and his actions meant more than his words.
